Northbridge Piazza Cobblestone Resurfacing

Northbridge Piazza

The intersection of James Street and Lake Street in Northbridge had become a hazard as the cobblestones were being dislodged by passing vehicles.

As a result the City of Perth approved their necessary removal and resurfacing of the road replacing them with coloured asphalt.

The removal and resurfacing works required temporary lane and road closures and the City of Perth had been working closely with Northbridge stakeholders and businesses to ensure the impact of the road works are kept to a minimum.

KEE Asphalt Contracting were very pleased to receive comments from David Torre of Torre Butchers “Often when work is done directly out the front of your store it can create quite a disruption to the business. KEE Asphalt got straight to the job at hand and they were very accommodating when it came to our customers and suppliers accessing our store. I was surprised and impressed that KEE got the project completed ahead of schedule.” David said.

The project began on Tuesday 4 March and finished on Friday 28 March, two weeks ahead of an approximately six week schedule.
